Chinese teen Guan Tianlang gets lessons from Tiger Woods ahead of his history-making Masters debut.

World number one Tiger Woods has been helping Chinese teen Guan Tianlang ahead of his historic Masters debut this week by giving him lessons.

The 14-year-old will become the youngest ever player to compete at Augusta in Masters history when he tees off on Thursday.

Guan, who played with Woods during a practice round at Augusta on Monday, is grateful for the tips that he receives from the American.

"Each time I play with him I feel a lot better and give myself some confidence and it's very good," Guan said.

"He told me a lot. We really enjoyed it on the golf course."

The pair met at the driving range on Monday after Guan's morning practice round where Woods invited him for a back-nine practice at the course with Dustin Johnson.
