Red Bull principal Christian Horner has claimed that it is not the team's job to 'help others succeed'.
The Formula 1 team has faced their critics after Sebastian Vettel secured his fourth consecutive drivers' championship, while the team have topped the constructors' standings yet again.
"We compete in a championship to the same regulations as all the others," BBC Sport quotes Horner as saying.
"So, we do the best job we can and then we measure ourselves against our opponents every couple of weeks. It is not down to us to help the others to succeed."
Vettel won his eighth race in a row in last weekend's United States Grand Prix.
