Paul di Resta says that he is looking forward to racing in China and Bahrain after a break from the Formula 1 season.

Force India racer Paul di Resta has said that he cannot wait for the upcoming Formula 1 double-header to get underway.

Having raced to an impressive eighth-placed finish on the opening weekend in Australia, the Scot endured a disappointing Malaysian Grand Prix after problems with the team's new captive wheel-nut system forced him to retire.

However, he is looking to get his season back on track in China and Bahrain in the next two races.

"The next two races just can't come quick enough," Di Resta told The Express.

"Despite what happened in Malaysia, we took very good positives from the weekend through our performance, so I'm looking forward to China and Bahrain.

"I'd like to think we'd have some more knowledge on our car to make it quicker."

Di Resta's teammate Adrian Sutil also retired in Sepang having finish seventh in Melbourne.
