Paul di Resta has insisted that he will be putting more pressure than anyone else on himself ahead of his third Formula 1 season.
The Force India driver admits that he struggled for consistency during last year's campaign but says that he is focused on improving his record.
"Of course, there is pressure on me this year," the 26-year-old said. "It's my third year in Formula 1, but as always, nobody puts pressure on me to do well like I do on myself.
"For whatever reason nothing went the right way at the end of last season.
"There were some good drives, some good pace, but it just never worked out. I've been through times like that where you just need to dig deep, and eventually you get out of it. Hopefully this year will be the year."
Di Resta's best performance in an F1 race was fourth, a finish he recorded in the Singapore Grand Prix last season.
