Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen believes that his team are in a "much stronger position" this season, after a disastrous 2014 campaign.
The Italian team failed to win a race last season, and Raikkonen finished 12th in the drivers' standings, which equalled his worst ever result.
However, winter testing has hinted that they have made vast improvements to their car and they are expected to contend for a podium place in the opening race in Australia this weekend.
Raikkonen told reporters: "We feel better overall as a team and I'm sure we are much more ready for this year. We are in a much stronger position. We still have work to do to get to where we want to, but that's part of the game.
"I think we have to be happy with where we are in testing and comparing where we finished last year. We have done a good job, but we have to wait and see if it is good enough or how far away we are."
Raikkonen is partnered by Sebastian Vettel this season.
