Yeovil Town have extended goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey's loan deal until the end of October.
The Welsh goalkeeper had initially been scheduled to return to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but Molineux head of football operations Kevin Thelwell revealed that Town boss Gary Johnson was keen to keep Hennessey at Huish Park.
Thelwell told the Express & Star: "I spoke to Gary yesterday and he's been really pleased with how Wayne's been performing and wanted to extend the loan.
"That's good news for all of us, and particularly Wayne because he's back playing and getting into great shape at a good level."
Hennessey missed last season with a cruciate knee ligament injury.
