Wolverhampton Wanderers have second Harry Maguire bid rejected?

Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly have a second bid for Sheffield United defender Harry Maguire turned down by the Blades.

Sheffield United managing director Mal Brannigan has revealed that the club have turned down a second bid for defender Harry Maguire, believed to be from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolves have been heavily linked with a move for the 21-year-old, and after they reportedly saw their first offer turned down last week, Brannigan has all but confirmed that the Blades have rejected an improved offer from Molineux.

Brannigan is quoted by the Express & Star as saying: "We've had one or two bids that have been rejected so far for Harry. Both bids have come from the same club. He has the chance to play Championship football next season.

"If you look at the amount of money that could come in for Harry, we could utilise it on the squad, but we'd much prefer him to stay."

It is being reported that Sheffield United are asking for £2m for the centre-back, who scored six times in 52 appearances last season.
