Report: Wolverhampton Wanderers planning bid for Harry Maguire

Wolverhampton Wanderers are targeting Sheffield United defender Harry Maguire, according to reports.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly identified Sheffield United defender Harry Maguire as a transfer target ahead of their return to the Championship.

The 21-year-old has been in impressive form once again for the Blades this season, and he could be available in the summer as he enters the final 12 months of his contract.

Wolves manager Kenny Jackett is believed to be looking to strengthen his side by continuing to recruit young players following his successful start to life at the club.

According to the Express & Star, the League One champions could be forced to pay as much as £1m for Maguire's services.

Maguire has been named United's player of the year three seasons in a row.
