Nigel Clough eyes more strikers at Sheffield United

Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough reveals that he wants to sign more strikers this summer.

Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough has revealed that he is keen to sign more strikers for next season.

The Blades recently added to their attacking ranks with the arrival of Marc McNulty from Scottish club Livingston.

However, Clough does not expect McNulty to be the team's primary source of goals when they return to action in August.

"I don't want to put that onus on his shoulders," he told the club's official website. "He'll be one of three or four strikers, we hope, next season, but no, we're not going to say he's our main man to get goals, he'll be one of several."

United finished in seventh place in the League One table last season.
