Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly made a late move to hijack Burnley's attempt to sign Lukas Jutkiewicz from Middlesbrough.
Jutkiewicz is likely to leave Boro permanently this summer after being loaned out to Bolton Wanderers last season.
Although Burnley can offer the 25-year-old Premier League football, first-team chances will be better with Wolves in the Championship.
According to the Birmingham Mail, Wolves are willing to match Burnley's £1.5m offer.
