Wolverhampton Wanderers accept Michael Jacobs bid from Wigan Athletic

Michael Jacobs is free to discuss personal terms with Wigan Athletic after Wolverhampton Wanderers accepted a bid for the winger.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have accepted a bid from Wigan Athletic for winger Michael Jacobs.

The 23-year-old is now free to discuss personal terms with the Latics, who were relegated to League One from the Championship earlier this year.

Jacobs featured heavily for Wolves in 2013-14 when they won League One, but made just three starts in the Championship last season.

The former Derby County man recently said that he had held positive talks with Kenny Jackett over his Wolves future, but his time at Molineux appears to now be over.
