Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken has admitted that he is "not too concerned" by Kevin Doyle's failure to score goals on a regular basis so far this season.
The Republic of Ireland international has just one Championship goal to his name, despite featuring in a number of matches.
However, Solbakken believes that it will only be a matter of time before Doyle rediscovers his goalscoring touch.
"I'm not too concerned because it's better to have the missed chances than not, but we've been very unlucky – I think Doyle has gone close four or five times this season, as has Slawomir Peszko," said Solbakken.
"If they'd gone in, that would have made a big difference and those all have something to do with luck and not poor finishing.
"Hopefully it will turn around. If God is fair, he'll reward the nice and hardworking ones. If we tried to change him, he wouldn't be the same player."
Doyle joined Wolves from Reading in 2009.
