Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has been charged with misconduct after being sent to the stands in Saturday's game with Bristol City.
After Danny Batth was given a straight red card, Nuno expressed his unhappiness with the decision and was dismissed from the technical area after an exchange with the fourth official.
That led to Nuno having to watch the remainder of the game from elsewhere, with the Portuguese witnessing Ryan Bennett's winning goal from the directors' box.
However, four days after the match, the Football Association has announced that it has punished Nuno for his actions at Ashton Gate, and the 43-year-old now has until 6pm on Friday, January 5 to decide whether to launch an appeal.
The charge is Nuno's second in the space of six weeks after being fined for a touchline confrontation with Bolton Wanderers counterpart Phil Parkinson in November.
