Kenny Jackett "committed" to Wolverhampton Wanderers amid QPR link

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett claims that he has "no ambition to leave" the club, as speculation linking him with the vacant QPR job intensifies.

Kenny Jackett has rejected suggestions that he could be on his way to Queens Park Rangers by insisting he is "committed" to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 53-year-old has been linked with the vacant managerial job at Loftus Road following the recent departure of Chris Ramsey.

Neil Warnock has been placed in temporary charge, but when Kevin Gallen - the brother of Wolves coach Joe Gallen - was asked who he felt should be appointed, he said Jackett would be the ideal man.

However, the former R's assistant has now moved to clarify his own position, claiming that he is more than happy to remain at Molineux.

"I don't like talking about other clubs and other club's positions, it's not my job to do that," Jackett told BBC Sport.

"In terms of myself, I'm happy here, I've no ambition to leave, I'm committed to Wolves. It's a great club. You do things at a club like this until someone tells you otherwise."

QPR are also said to be interested in hiring Nigel Pearson, although they could face competition from West London rivals Fulham.
