Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis has revealed that his chairman would contact him should Wolverhampton Wanderers approach the club regarding his services.
Davis has been heavily linked with the vacant head coach role at Molineux, but he has insisted that he has not been contracted about leaving the Alexandra Stadium.
The 47-year-old told the Express & Star: "We have a relationship I trust and an understanding that if there were anything of interest to tell me about, the chairman would do so.
"I have not heard a thing from him so I have nothing to discuss."
Former Millwall chief Kenny Jackett and former England boss Steve McLaren have also been linked with the position at the relegated club.
