Wolverhampton Wanderers interim manager Terry Connor has described Sunday's 5-0 defeat at Fulham as a "difficult day" for his side.
A Pavel Pogrebnyak hat-trick and a brace from Clint Dempsey condemned Wolves to their fourth league defeat in six games.
"It was a real difficult day for us today and we came with a game plan with a way of trying to defend and I thought we were okay for the first 34, 35 minutes," Connor told Sky Sports News.
"Second half was tough as we tried to push on to get one back and make it difficult for Fulham but they're a good side with good players and they counter-attacked us really well and we ended up losing goals at regular intervals really."
The result has kept Connor's side 18th in the Premier League table.
