Wigan Athletic striker Conor Sammon has insisted that he will 'get his head down' for the club next season.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a summer move to Championship club Derby County, however, he has quelled suggestions of a move.
"In the short term, my goals are to get my head down, get fit as quickly as possible, and trying to kick on. I'm really looking forward to the season. It's a new start, a new slate," he told reporters.
Sammon has scored just once for Wigan since joining in January 2011.
