Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez refuses to change style

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez insists that he will not change his team's style of play, despite a tough start to the Premier League season.

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has insisted that he will stick by the club's playing philosophy.

The Spaniard is known for adopting a free-flowing, pass-and-move style but the North West outfit have only managed to secure one Premier League win this season.

"We're very clear in how we want to win games, not just now but a year, two years down the line and create a philosophy that is going to make us a very strong football club," said Martinez.

The Latics head into this weekend's match against West Ham United 16th in the league table.
