West Ham United have reportedly identified Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore as a potential signing for the summer window.
Last month, the Hammers announced that Manuel Pellegrini had been appointed as the club's new boss, and it has been suggested that the club will embark on a 'record-breaking' spending spree.
According to Sky Sports News, that could begin with the addition of Pastore, who is available for transfer with PSG looking to improve their standing with FFP.
The report suggests that the two clubs have reached an agreement over a fee in the region of £17.5m, although it remains unclear whether the playmaker is in favour of the switch.
Pastore contributed four goals and five assists from 25 appearances in Ligue 1 this season, but 11 of those outings came from the substitutes' bench.
The 28-year-old has previously hinted at a move to La Liga, but a number of Premier League clubs hold an interest in the Argentine's signature.
