Crystal Palace make their move for West Ham United midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate?

Crystal Palace reportedly make contact with West Ham United regarding the possible signing of midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate.

West Ham United midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Crystal Palace.

Kouyate has enjoyed a successful four-year spell with the Hammers, with 15 goals being scored in 147 appearances in all competitions.

However, it has been claimed that West Ham are prepared to sell the 28-year-old this summer, and Porto are allegedly keen to sign the Senegal midfielder.

According to Sky Sports News, Palace have also made their move for a player who could cost somewhere in the region of £10m.

The Eagles are yet to sign any new outfield players during the summer window, but manager Roy Hodgson requires a replacement for Yohan Cabaye, who has left on a free transfer.
