West Ham United striker Nikica Jelavic close to Chinese switch?

West Ham United's Croatian centre-forward Nikica Jelavic is reportedly on the verge of sealing a switch to Chinese second division team Beijing Renhe.

A move to take Nikica Jelavic from West Ham United to China is 95% complete, according to a report.

Sky Sports News claims that the Croatian will make the trip to the Far East in the near future to put the finishing touches on his switch to Beijing Renhe, who play in the Chinese second tier.

Jelavic has made 15 appearances for the Hammers this season, from which he has scored three goals.

The 30-year-old's West Ham teammate Dimitri Payet has also recently been linked with a £38m transfer to China.
