West Ham United manager Sam Alardyce expects midfielder Scott Parker to leave the club by the end of the transfer window.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce says he expects Scott Parker to leave by the end of the transfer window.

The England midfielder has been the subject of a £4m bid by QPR, but the Hammers are thought to be holding out for double.

"I have to be pessimistic and say somebody will probably hit the numbers and there is a big possibility he won’t be here by September 1," said Allardyce.

The Upton Park club continue their Championship campaign on Sunday at home to Leeds United.
