West Ham United owners 'growing frustrated with Sam Allardyce'

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce's job is said to be under threat following a poor run of form.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce's job is allegedly at risk.

Club owner David Sullivan has publicly backed the Hammers boss, but is secretly growing frustrated with the team's performances, according to The Mirror.

Following Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Crystal Palace, Allardyce has reportedly been warned that results must improve.

Questions are also said to have been raised about why the Hammers have so few strikers, yet spent big money bringing midfielder Stewart Downing to the club.

West Ham lie in 17th place in the Premier League table, and face Liverpool, Sunderland, Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal in their next five matches.
