Sam Allardyce: 'West Ham United must be positive'

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce tells his players that they can get a positive result on Wednesday when they make the trip to Chelsea in the Premier League.

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has claimed that his side can get a positive result on Wednesday when they travel to Chelsea in the Premier League.

The Hammers, who are currently one point from safety in the table, go into the match at Stamford Bridge as huge underdogs.

However, Allardyce insists that the visitors can come away with at least a point if they show enough belief against their London rivals.

"We can't go to Chelsea and lie down," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying. "We can't go to Chelsea and think that we're not going to get a result.

"It can be achieved at any one time in any one game and we've got to believe that it can be achieved."

West Ham have suffered six defeats from their last nine matches.
