Preview: West Ham United vs. Everton

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Premier League clash between West Ham United and Everton.

West Ham United welcome an unbeaten side to Upton Park in the form of Everton this weekend as they attempt to take maximum points.

The Hammers failed to find the back of the net in last weekend's goalless draw with Southampton, which has left them with two draws, one win and a defeat in the Premier League.

Manager Sam Allardyce revealed today that the club are still unsure of when striker Andy Carroll will be returning to the starting lineup due to his foot injury.

This indicates that Modibo Maiga will keep his place up front, receiving support from Matt Jarvis on the wing, while Kevin Nolan should hold the midfield during the clash.

The visiting Everton side have their heads up following their 1-0 victory over Chelsea, which is their first win of the campaign following three draws under manager Roberto Martinez.

The Merseyside outfit could bring on-loan Romelu Lukaku into the fray following the forward's absence last weekend due to his ineligibility to play against his parent club Chelsea.

Gareth Barry should keep his place in midfield following an impressive performance against Chelsea at Goodison Park, while Steven Naismith could be included after scoring against the Blues last weekend.
