Preview: West Ham United vs. Swansea City

Sports Mole previews the Premier League contest between West Ham United and Swansea City at Upton Park.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce could have his squad boosted by the return of Diafra Sahko and Alex Song for the visit of Swansea City.

The duo, who moved to Upton Park during the summer, have recovered from respective back and knee problems in time to be in contention for Sunday's fixture.

Winger Enner Valencia could earn a start after coming off the bench against West Bromwich Albion in midweek as the Hammers maintained fifth position in the Premier League table.

However, midfielder Mark Noble is expected to remain absent with a calf problem.

Swansea's 2-0 win over Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night has put them into a position where they can overtake West Ham with three points at the weekend.

The Welsh outfit, under the stewardship of Garry Monk, have been a regular feature in the top half of the table since beating Manchester United at Old Trafford on the opening day of the campaign.

However, that triumph remains their one win in six games on the road, with the majority of their success coming at the Liberty Stadium.

Aside from the continued absence of Federico Fernandez, Monk has a fully-fit squad to choose from as he looks to move towards a top-four spot.
