West Bromwich Albion target Ipswich Town's Aaron Cresswell?

West Bromwich Albion identify Ipswich Town left-back Aaron Cresswell as one of their main transfer targets this summer, according to a report.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly made Ipswich Town defender Aaron Cresswell one of their main transfer targets this summer.

The Baggies are in the market for a new left-back after allowing Liam Ridgewell and Goran Popov to leave the club following the expiry of their contracts.

West Brom are said to have been tracking Fulham's Kieran Richardson, but Cresswell is thought to be the preferred choice of manager Alan Irvine.

The Premier League club will table a bid for the 24-year-old this week, according to the Birmingham Mail.

Cresswell, who made 43 appearances last season, is under contract at Portman Road until 2017.
