Thievy Bifouma links up with West Bromwich Albion

La Liga side Espanyol confirm that Thievy Bifouma is to join West Bromwich Albion on a loan basis.

Espanyol have confirmed that they have sanctioned the loan departure of Thievy Bifouma to West Bromwich Albion.

The Baggies have parted with an estimated £500,000 to secure the 21-year-old's services until the end of the current campaign.

The striker has featured in 11 La Liga matches for his Barcelona-based employers this season, scoring three goals in the process.

Bifouma joined Espanyol from Strasbourg as a trainee in 2010.
