Report: Bakary Sako undergoes West Bromwich Albion medical

Mali international Bakary Sako closes in on a transfer to West Bromwich Albion, according to a report.

Former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Bakary Sako is reportedly on the verge of joining West Bromwich Albion.

The 27-year-old left Wolves at the end of last season following the expiration of his contract.

According to Sky Sports News, the Mali international has undergone a medical at West Brom's training ground and a deal is close to being struck.

Sako scored 38 goals in 124 games for Wolves.
