Alan Irvine hopeful of more signings at West Bromwich Albion

West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Irvine confirms that he still hopes to sign more players before the start of the season.

West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Irvine has revealed that he wants to sign more players before the start of the season.

The Baggies have already added eight new faces to their ranks this summer, including Joleon Lescott, Craig Gardner and Chris Baird.

However, Irvine is hopeful that he will be able to boost his squad even further in the coming weeks.

"There's still more to come. There are players that we'll still be working to bring in. When that happens, I don't know," the Scot told Sky Sports News.

West Brom continue their pre-season campaign on Saturday when they host Porto.
