West Bromwich Albion record signing Brown Ideye seals Olympiacos switch

West Bromwich Albion confirm that striker Brown Ideye, who signed from Dynamo Kiev for a club-record fee of £10m last summer, has been sold to Olympiacos.

West Bromwich Albion have confirmed the transfer of striker Brown Ideye to Olympiacos for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old joined the Baggies from Dynamo Kiev for a club-record fee of £10m last summer, but has scored just seven goals in 31 appearances.

West Brom's official website confirmed that the deal for the Nigeria international has been finalised in time for the player to be registered for the Greek club's Champions League campaign.

The Baggies have recruited Salomon Rondon and Rickie Lambert this summer.
