West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has defended goalkeeper Ben Foster after his error gifted Aston Villa a last-minute penalty tonight.
Christian Benteke converted the spot kick to give Villa a vital 2-1 win, and Pulis has admitted that he is disappointed with the result.
He told BBC Sport: "Obviously Ben Foster will be disappointed with what happened at the end. It's very, very hard to take but Ben has been brilliant for us this season so I won't be criticising him.
"We are disappointed, we have dug in second-half and got the goal. Maybe we would have liked to have changed one or two things but we have got a few injuries so we have what we have.
"The aim is to get as many points as we can as long as we finish outside the bottom three."
The Baggies sit 13th in the Premier League table.
