West Bromwich Albion have announced the return of former player Darren Moore to the club as a development coach.
The 40-year-old, who spent five years playing for the Baggies, has been added to the academy setup as professional development phase coach.
Moore worked as an Under-18s coach at The Hawthorns before leaving in January 2013 to join the coaching setup under former Blackburn Rovers manager Michael Appleton.
"I'm grateful to West Brom for inviting me back in – I feel like I've come back home," Moore told the club's official website.
"I'm a more experienced coach now and know what's needed to make that transition from youth level to the first team. I had other good job offers but I've got a lot of passion for the club and it is almost like unfinished business for me."
Before returning to West Brom, Moore had a spell working with the Professional Footballers' Association.
