Matej Vydra seals permanent Watford switch from Udinese

Watford announce that Matej Vydra has signed a five-year contract after leaving Udinese.

Newly-promoted Premier League side Watford have permanently signed Czech Republic forward Matej Vydra from Udinese.

The 23-year-old spent the 2012-13 and 2014-15 campaigns on loan with Watford, scoring a total of 38 goals for the Hornets.

He has now signed a five-year deal with the Hertfordshire side after leaving Udinese, where he failed to score in five years.

Vydra has experience of playing in the Premier League having spent the 2013-14 season at West Bromwich Albion.
