Winger Andre Carrillo has reportedly decided that he would like to complete a permanent switch to Watford.
During the summer transfer window, Watford were successful in securing the season-long loan signing of the Peruvian international, who failed to make an impact in his first season at Benfica.
However, according to the Watford Observer, the 26-year-old already holds a desire to remain at Vicarage Road after making an impression under head coach Marco Silva.
Carrillo has made four starts and one substitute outing in the Premier League - with Watford registering eight points from those matches - and the South American is allegedly hopeful that Silva will look to activate an option to sign him on a full-time basis.
Watford can allegedly purchase Carrillo for a fee in excess of £10m at the end of the season.
