Inter Milan's Ashley Young is reportedly in talks with Watford over a summer return to Vicarage Road.
The 35-year-old came through the youth ranks at the Hornets and made 107 appearances for the club - scoring 22 goals and registering 10 assists - before moving to Aston Villa in 2007.
Young has played an important role in Inter's triumphant Serie A campaign this term - starting 14 top-flight games and claiming three assists - but his deal with Antonio Conte's side expires at the end of June.
With no talks over an extension thought to be on the table, journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Watford are hopeful of re-signing the England international as a free agent for the 2021-22 campaign.
Romano adds that the Hornets, who have secured automatic promotion back to the Premier League, will have "huge chances" of landing the versatile midfielder if Inter opt against extending his contract.
Young has turned out 58 times for Inter since arriving in January 2020, bagging four goals and eight assists for the Nerazzurri.
