Quique Flores urges Watford fans to dream of FA Cup final at Wembley

Watford manager Quique Flores urges the club's fans to start dreaming of Wembley following their progress into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Watford manager Quique Flores has urged the club's fans to start dreaming of a trip to Wembley following their qualification for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this afternoon.

The Hornets booked their place in the last eight for the first time in nine years courtesy of a 1-0 win over Championship side Leeds United, with Scott Wootton's own goal proving to be the difference at Vicarage Road.

With Watford also having already surpassed their highest ever Premier League points tally and looking good for survival in the top flight, Flores has called on the fans to make the most of their form this season.

"It is important to permit the fans to dream every time," Flores told reporters.

"We are living an amazing experience in the Premier League, an amazing season in the FA Cup and have a very professional attitude from the players.

"The fans are supporting our football and style, so they need to dream, and we support their dream because football is for love and to create dreams."

Watford have only ever reached the FA Cup final once before in their history, losing the 1984 showpiece to Everton.
