Wales international midfielder Jonathan Williams has admitted his disappointment at his side's 2-1 defeat to Croatia in their World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
Second-half goals from Dejan Lovren and Eduardo saw the Croats come from a goal down to take maximum points at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea.
"It was an unbelievable experience to play alongside Gareth Bale and Craig Bellamy but it is a shame about the result," BBC Sport quotes Williams as saying.
"When you play against the likes of Luka Modric, you expect that sort of second-half performance from them.
"It is a shame we could not hold on. It was hard night, we knew they would come at us in the second half. We gave Croatia a good game and it shows we are improving every game."
Wales are now fourth in Group A with six points from as many matches, while Croatia are second with 16 points.
