Ashley Williams has insisted that Chris Coleman is the right man to coach the Welsh national team.
Recent media reports had claimed that Coleman, who replaced the late Gary Speed at the helm, was under pressure having only guided the Dragons to one victory in their World Cup qualifying group.
However, following Friday evening's 2-1 win over Scotland, Swansea City defender Williams believes that his manager has proved his worth.
"The manager was spot on against Scotland. He made good substitutions and got all the big calls right. There has been criticism of him but not from anyone who matters. People have just been talking for talking's sake," he told Press Association Sport.
Next up for Wales is another qualifier against Croatia on Tuesday night.
