Joe Ledley has hailed the "fantastic" team spirit within the Wales squad following their impressive start to Euro 2016 qualifying.
A goalless draw away to Belgium on Sunday evening has kept Chris Coleman's unbeaten side in second place in the Group B standings after four matches.
Wales had been tipped to struggle during the qualification campaign, but Ledley believes that their togetherness has played a key role in their success so far.
"As a team we're all together; it's a fantastic unit," he told UEFA.com. "The team bonding is brilliant. Everyone wants to meet up and see each other and that's what you need. You don't want injuries and everyone's trying hard to stay fit for Wales.
"We're in a fantastic position but we just need to take it game by game. We have Israel away next, which is another very hard game, but we just need to keep going and keep plugging away."
Ledley returns to club action with Crystal Palace on Sunday when they host Liverpool in the Premier League.
