Report: Valencia want Matias Kranevitter

A report claims that Valencia want to sign River Plate youngster Matias Kranevitter.

Valencia are reportedly preparing a January move for River Plate midfielder Matias Kranevitter.

The 21-year-old is widely regarded as one of the brightest talents in Argentina, with his form said to be drawing a host of interest.

According to Inside Spanish Football, Valencia sporting director Roberto Ayala has recommended the youngster to the management team at Los Che, opening up the possibility of a move this month.

Kranevitter, who is primarily a defensive midfielder, came through the ranks at River Plate and has three Argentina Under-20 caps to his name.
