Nuno hails Enzo Perez

Valencia boss Nuno hails the performance of Enzo Perez in Sunday's 2-1 win over Real Madrid.

Valencia boss Nuno has praised Enzo Perez for his performance in Sunday's 2-1 win over Real Madrid.

The midfielder only arrived at the Mestalla from Benfica last week, but was thrust straight into the starting XI against Los Blancos.

Los Che lined up with a 3-5-2 formation against the La Liga leaders and Nuno believes that Perez's "balance" was vital.

"Enzo [Perez] had a great match. He offered the balance needed for a three-man central midfield to work," Nuno told reporters.

Perez had strongly been linked with a move to Manchester United, but joined the Spanish outfit on December 30.
