Miroslav Djukic on verge of Valencia sack?

Valencia are reportedly on the verge of sacking Miroslav Djukic as head coach.

Valencia have scheduled a press conference for 4pm this afternoon, with speculation that the Spanish outfit will announce the departure of head coach Miroslav Djukic.

Reports had suggested that Djukic would lose his position if Los Che suffered a heavy defeat to Real Madrid next weekend, but a statement from the club is expected within the next hour.

It is believed that president Amadeo Salvo and general manager Rufete will both be present alongside the head coach in front of the media this afternoon.

Djukic, 47, took charge of Valencia in the summer having previously spent two years with Real Valladolid.
