Gary Neville will not resign as Valencia boss

Valencia boss Gary Neville answers "no" when asked whether he would stand down from his position following the 7-0 defeat at Barcelona on Wednesday night.

Gary Neville has insisted that he will not stand down as Valencia boss, despite his team's humiliating defeat at Barcelona.

Los Che were thumped 7-0 by Barcelona in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final at Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

During the match, social media was rife with speculation that the former Manchester United defender would stand down from his position as head coach due to his struggles at the helm since taking charge in December.

Neville was asked by reporters whether he would resign after the match at Camp Nou and responded with a sharp: "No".

The 40-year-old is yet to collect three points for Valencia in the league.
