Edinson Cavani: 'Fans shouldn't boo Luis Suarez'

Edinson Cavani believes Luis Suarez will "punish" Team GB if he is jeered at the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Uruguay's Edinson Cavani has warned Team GB to expect Luis Suarez to be spurred on by boos when the two teams meet on Wednesday evening.

Suarez has been jeered by British fans during his first two appearances at the Olympics but Cavani believes his strike partner will force his critics to eat their words in Cardiff.

The Napoli striker said: "Luis knows that the crowd might be against him, but that is the worst thing that they can do.

"He can punish any team in the world, but if you antagonise him you will give him more of a reason to punish you."
