Andriy Voronin talks up "biggest game in Ukraine's history"

Andriy Voronin has described Ukraine's upcoming Euro 2012 group encounter against England as the biggest match in his nation's history.

Only victory will do if the co-hosts are to qualify for the quarter-finals at the expense of the English.

Having seen fellow hosts Poland drop out at the group stage last night, Voronin is hoping that his side do not suffer a similar fate.

"I think this is the biggest game in Ukraine's history there is still a little chance we can get to the quarter final and we will do everything to be there," he told reporters. "It is a very important not just for us players but the whole country. We know how important it is we don't want to end up like Poland and go further.

"When we played against Sweden the whole country celebrated and it was an amazing atmosphere and we want the same thing after the game against England.

"We need to win we want to go to the quarter-final so we will try to do everything."

Ukraine are currently third in Group D.
