Novara midfielder Bruno Fernandes nears a move to Udinese.

Udinese sporting director Fabrizio Larini has revealed that the club are close to signing Novara midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

The 18-year-old has been one of the star performers in Serie B this season, with his form reportedly attracting the interest of a number of European clubs.

Larini told Tuttomercatoweb.com: "There is a deal, it is true. We have spoken and we're talking about it with Novara as perhaps other people are doing. We hope to reach an agreement as soon as possible."

Fernandes has scored three goals in 14 appearances this season.
