Dida to make professional return?

Brazilian club Portuguesa will reportedly offer veteran goalkeeper Dida a way back into the professional game.

Former AC Milan goalkeeper Dida could return to professional football with Brazilian club Portuguesa.

The 38-year-old has not played in a professional capacity for almost two years, but Portuguesa coach Candinho has revealed an interest in the veteran.

"He is coming here in Canindé (Portuguesa's stadium) for a meeting, but nothing is certain. I'm talking to him and he was my keeper in the Selecao (Brazil national team)," Candinho told GloboEsporte.

"If he agreed terms with Portuguesa, he would still have to spend time just practicing how to recover, even though he served on the beach soccer team."

Dida has been playing for the AC Milan beach soccer team in his home nation in recent weeks.
