Saturday morning's La Liga transfer talk news roundup:
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms he is keeping tabs on Erling Braut Haaland
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that he is "following" the progress of fellow Norwegian and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland.
The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a transfer to Old Trafford as well as to rivals Manchester City and Real Madrid, and the youngster has previously worked with Solskjaer during his time at Molde.
United are understood to be interested in a striker and the Red Devils boss has heaped praise on the Dortmund man, stating that he will have a "fantastic" career for club and country.
"Erling will have a fantastic career. I'm following Erling. I've always said that. Was it 18 months we had together or something? Almost two years, maybe. A wonderful time. He will definitely have a great career for both Norway and his club," Solskjaer told Norwegian outlet VG.
"He is doing incredibly well for Dortmund, so we'll see where he ends up. As a Norwegian and someone who has worked with him, it is of course fun that he does so well.
"We will do what we can to become a better team, then he will do what he can to become a better player. Where does he end up? I do not want to say anything other than that, that I wish him all the best. Which choice he makes may be up to him."
Haaland, who will have a release clause worth around £68m which becomes active in the summer of 2022, has scored 22 goals and provided six assists in just 22 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign.
Chelsea planning sales to fund Erling Braut Haaland pursuit?
Chelsea are reportedly planning to sell several first-team players in order to afford the purchase of Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland this summer.
The Blues have been strongly linked with the Norwegian, who is also understood to be attracting interest from other top European clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
football.london reports that Chelsea may look to sell Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga as well as defenders Andreas Christensen and Fikayo Tomori in order to free up funds to sign the 20-year-old striker.
Kepa, who cost a world record £72m in 2018, has fallen behind new recruit Edouard Mendy and could look to move on for more regular first-team football, as could Christensen, who is behind Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger and Kurt Zouma in the pecking order.
An impressive loan spell for Tomori at AC Milan could persuade the Italian giants to activate a buy option in his contract which is believed to be around £27m.
They also report that Real Madrid plan to sell players such as forward Luka Jovic, which could help them raise the money they need to sign Haaland.
Haaland will be available for around £68m in the summer of 2022, but with his release clause not coming into play until then, Dortmund would likely ask for around £100m this summer having only been with the German club since last year.
