Trabzonspor have reportedly moved to the front of the queue in the race to sign former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
Despite having a number of admirers in the Premier League, the 29-year-old will move to a foreign club before the end of the transfer window.
Italian outfit Atalanta BC and MLS side DC United have both been linked with Sturridge in recent days, although it now appears that the frontman will make the switch to Turkey.
According to Goal.com, Trabzonspor have offered Sturridge a contract until 2021, worth in the region of £2.8m per year.
The report adds that there would be an option of extending those terms by another 12 months.
Sturridge scored a total of 67 goals from 160 appearances during his six-and-a-half-year stay at Anfield.
